I launched a brand new podcast this week called Vitamin Joy.

You can listen to the trailer here.

The goal of the show is dive into health and wellness in an accessible and fun way, with some good old fashioned PG-13 jokes thrown in.

When I first came up with the podcast idea, I was struggling with an autoimmune condition called vitiligo and a sinus infection that required 15 days of strong antibiotics. I’d lost my sense of humor, and later realized my best prescription is lessening my own stress and adding more joy and fun back into my daily life.

I started asking questions. I interviewed experts on everything from dealing with anxiety to breathwork, fasting, giving up caffeine, and how to add more humor back into my everyday life.

Episode one features the New York Times best-selling author James Nestor and talks about how our breath affects our health. Episode two provides tools to deal with anxiety. I interview Author Meredith Arthur who wrote Get Out of Your Head: Inspiration for Overthinkers in an Anxious world. She shares helpful tactics like naming your inner critic (I call mine Debbie Downer), using colors as a tool to distract your head, and writing in journals that you throw away after to release your feelings.

I test my guest's prescriptions and discover that even when life is messy, even in the midst of Covid19, a little more Vitamin Joy is more of what we all need.

I invite you to take a listen and subscribe. If you like it, please write a review and email me to let me know what you think. I cherish your ideas and feedback, especially since you’ve likely been following my podcast journey since the beginning. Most of all, I hope you dose yourself with a little more Vitamin Joy in your own life today. It’s free, and you don’t even have to leave your house to get it.
